I have toyed with the idea of creating a fashion blog extravaganza for a while now ("a while" being the last few years mind you).

And since this poor blog doesn't get any action and I barely post any drivel to my livejournal any longer I think I just may have to revamp this space on the web into the likes of a personal fashion blog.

We'll see if I maintain it.

This has not been a fleeting idea more of a strong desire. I'm young. I'm a woman. I love fashion. I express myself everyday through my clothing choices. Sometimes my outfits are great sometimes they are not. Sometimes I feel great about what I'm wearing. And sometimes I don't.

I'm a shy gal and don't have many friends. And my friends (and family) often don't give a damn about fashion or take any risks with their clothing choices. To them jeans and a t-shirt will do. But for me I need something more put together. Something more refined, unique. Something more creative. I admit to using my clothing choices to spark conversation or try to display my personality without words. I love how clothing can make a person feel more confident or sexy or glamorous. I love vintage pieces and often bold colors. I like having fun with my clothes and playing around with different styles. Why be just stick to the same old standards? Why not take some risks and be a bit bold in one aspect of my life?

And I SO much want to gush and gossip about what I'm wearing today. Or boast the fantastic bargain I bought on sale or on clearance. Or mention pieces I am lusting after. I intend for this blog to be my personal outlet for such outbursts....

I thrive on bargain shopping. And you'll find myself frequently trolling the a plethora of online shops for great deals and steals.

Just recently I bought this lovely floral dress on clearance from Delia's for $9.00 with coupons (!).



I love dresses. And I love dresses even more so on sale. Fact.

I cannot wait to wear it. Even if I don't have a 'special' occasion. I'll wear it around the house if I have to (and likely will). x
